My First Altered Project

So I did this band-aid box kind of out of the blue. One thing I learned - use paper, not cardstock. Oops! I made the job a little harder than it should have been.

Card for Phlenin

My dear Phlen,
I hope you know that I went WAY out of my normal box for you :-D

Congrats on getting off of Paroll!!

yes, it's true for a friend of ours.

Clearly Irresistible!

Here are the cards I made during the Clearly Irresistible Class at Archiver's on June 15th. We used Kalidescope Ink pads and a Soft Rubber Brayer on glossy paper for the multi-colored backgrounds.

Thanks So Much: Used StayzOn black ink for sentiment, Matermark ink for the butterflies and left border, then brayered the paper with Melon ink. Used blank StayzOn for the black circles on top of acetate.

Hello: Used watermark ink for foliage, then brayered with Riveria Ink on glossy paper. Circle punch, acetate behind punch to create a window. Sentiment in stamped on the card behind the colored paper. Used pop dots to lift colored paper from the card.

You Make me Smile: Black StayOn for Sentiment, Pastel ink brayered onto glossy paper, pastel ink used on border. White StayzOn on Acetate for the tree and owl. Acetate fixed to card with purple ribbon.

Thinking of You: Black StayzOn for branch. Created a mask for the top half of the glossy paper and stamped flowers with watermark ink, then brayere with Caribbean ink. Stamped bird in Caribbean ink, sentiment in Black StayzOn.

Great Class!!!! I bought the riveria ink and a brayer to try this at home. I really jsut want to pay $15 and take the class again though :-)
